FAQ
How does the wasp and hornet trap work?
The trap contains a liquid attractant that lures wasps, flies, and hornets. Once inside, the insects are unable to escape.
Does the trap contain chemicals?
Does it attract bees or other pollinating insects?
Where is the best location to place the trap?
For outdoor use – in the garden, on balconies, near trash bins, compost piles, or close to gazebos. Place the trap in a visible, wind-sheltered location, about 1.5 meters above the ground.
What area does a single trap cover?
Under typical conditions, one trap protects an area of approximately 10–15 m². For larger gardens, use several traps.
How many insects can one trap capture?
The trap can capture up to 3,000 insects, depending on infestation intensity. It remains effective until the liquid dries out or the container is full.
How often should the trap be replaced?
Replace every 2–4 weeks, or when filled with insects, or when filled with insects. Regular inspection ensures maximum effectiveness.
Can the trap be hung?
Yes, the set includes a hanging strap. You can easily attach the trap to a tree branch, pergola, or hook.
Does the trap also work on flies?
Does it work in cold weather as well?
The trap may still work on cooler days, but its effectiveness decreases significantly when temperatures fall below 15°C, as insect activity drops. The best results are achieved from spring through early autumn, especially during warm, sunny days. Keep in mind that performance depends on the insect species and their life cycle – wasps, for example, are most active in July and August, while other insects may be more active earlier or later in the season.
